Oloye Abiola Iyiola
He attended Saint David’s Primary School, Kudeti and Eleta High School where he obtained his primary and secondary education respectively. He later earned his B.Sc. at the University of Ibadan and a Diploma in Law at Lagos State University. In 1999, he was awarded the Chevening Scholarship by the British Government for a postgraduate study at the prestigious University of Manchester as part of an international scholarship scheme, which recognizes and enables students with leadership qualities. Abiola completed an internship program at the Law Centres Network, United Kingdom with a primary assignment at the Plumstead Community Law Centre and Thamesmead Law Centre. He later returned to Nigeria to work at the Legal Resources Consortium headed by the current Attorney General of Ekiti State, Mr. Olawale Fapohunda. In 2003, Abiola was selected as a member of a team by the British Council in Lagos in conjunction with the Human Rights Institute of South Africa (HURISA) to study the Parliamentary sessions in Johannesburg and Cape Town, both in South Africa. In all the foreign assignments and companies where he worked, Abiola left his footprint as a dedicated, committed, resourceful and result-oriented individual with a unique mental attitude for achieving unmatched corporate goals. He emigrated to United States of America in April 2003 where he continued his Post-Baccalaureate studies in Public Relations at the Texas Southern University, and MBA at the University of Houston. His exemplary leadership qualities have earned him a key position on several boards and commissions in Nigeria, South Africa, London and United States. Abiola is married and blessed with two children; a son and a daughter. He is currently the Vice President of IDU Houston Chapter and the National General Secretary of IDU USA.
Mrs. Abiola Ajibade
Attended I M G primary School. Orita Aperin, Queen of Apostles Secondary School, Oluyoro then LATTC, Iya -Ofa. Proceeded to Ondo State College of Education in Nigeria. BSC. Finance and MBA Business New Jersey City University, New Jersey. Manager Customer Service with United Postal Service.
Engr. Mutiu Adebayo
Engineer Mutiu Adebayo is the current Vice President of Houston-IDU chapter. He was IDU-Houston Secretary from 2017 till 2022. Mutiu Adebayo was born in Ibadan, the largest city in Nigeria, to the Adebayo family that oriented from “Ina lende” in “Layaaju” compound, Ibadan. He grew up in Ibadan and attended International Secondary School, Ibadan before progressing his universities studies in Russia and USA. He holds 2 Master Degrees in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture.He is a Senior Engineer in the USA. He is passionate about supporting IDU activities in the USA and extending it to Ibadan as form of charity and giving back to the society in general.

Mr Olusola Bolomope
Mr Olusola Bolomope was born in Ibadan to the late Pa Yesufu Agbogunleri Bolomope of the Agbogunleri's compound, Isale'Jebu. His father was one of the very trusted confidants of the first Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abbass Aleshinloye and later became the Baale of Sore Village near Araromi- Akanran where he was a very successful cocoa farmer. His mother was the late Alhaja Olatorera Abeni, well known as Iya Olounje, Iya oni cocoa from Odi Odeyale village in the present Ona Ara local government. He started his primary school education at the Anglican Central School, Araromi Village and later attended both Olumo Primary School, Abeokuta ; Army Children School, Mokola,Ibadan and St Joseph Catholic School, Benin City. He attended Islamic High School, Orita Bashorun for his secondary school education before proceeding to the University of Ife, Ile Ife where he earned his Bachelors degree in 1986. After his NYSC program, he joined the Sketch Newspaper.
Mrs Rashidah Afolarin
John Adeniji
John Adeniji was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria to Rev. Joshua Adeniji and his mother Mrs. Deborah Adeniji who are both Ibadan indigenes of Yemetu Kanbi region. Mr. Adenij moved to the United States with his family in 1989 to pursue his education with a dream of a better life. Mr. Adeniji attended the University of North Texas in Denton, TX where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Mr. Adeniji is a Certified Financial Planner and has practiced in the field for the past 20 years. Mr. Adeniji is passionate about helping people in any way that he can by giving back to his local community and his native Ibadan. He has been a mentor with the I have a Dream foundation, and has also worked with youths in his church in various capacities since 2002. Mr. Adeniji is a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. He is a faithful member of the African Evangelical Baptist Church where he currently serves as a Deacon.
Mr. Olawale Olalere
Alhaji Mogaji Olawale Olalere-Apabielesin was born in Ibadan to the family of Alhaji Muraina Olalere Apabielesin and Alhaja Aolat Abebi Olalere. Olawale Olalere had his primary education at Alaafia Nursery Primary School, Mokola Ibadan. Later on, He had his secondary education at IMG Grammar School Aperin Ibadan. Alhaji Olawale Olalere Apabielesin thereafter completed his university education at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife graduating with B Agric (Hons) in Agricultural Economics in 1991/1992 school year. He had his youth services with NYSC completed at Imo State Nigeria. Upon completion of service, Alhaji Olalere went on Industrial Training in Agriculture at University of Gembloux Belgium with IT training at farms in Charleroi and Gembloux. He later return to Nigeria, participated in Farm Settlement scheme with Oyo State government. In year 2000, Olawale Olalere won green card visa lottery, relocated to NYC USA. After 2 years of working in security industry.
Dr. Taiwo Emiola Ph.D
Dr. Taiwo Hazzanat Emiola was born to the family of Ladipo – Late Chief Alhaji S. O. Ladipo and Alhaja Mrs. S. A. Ladipo of Ile-Oriolowo Compound Oritamerin Ibadan. Her dad was the Son of Late Chief Yessufu Ladipo -Balogun of Ibadanland, the Mogaji of Ile-oriolowo compound, Chief Accountant of Cocoa Board and Trust, and the President of Ibadan -Muslim Progressive comittee. Mrs. Emiola lives in Riverview, Florida, where she joined the Central Florida Chapter of IDU in 2014. A student at Queens School Ibadan and University of Ibadan, in Nigeria, Mrs. Emiola relocated to the United States in 1999. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from State College of Florida and a master’s degree in nursing from University of South Tampa, Tampa, Fl. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, a member of Tampa bay Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and American Association of Nurse Practitioner. She has been involved in many IDU programs.
Dr. Olubunmi Afonja
Dr. Olubunmi Afonja is the daughter of Dr. Lateef Emiola (from Alafara Olubadan) and Mrs. Otolola Emiola (nee Alabi) (from Isale Ijebu), she spent most of her childhood and early adulthood in Ibadan. She started elementary school at Sacred Heart Primary School, Ring Road Ibadan and completed this at the Staff School, University of Ibadan. She then attended International School, University but had to leave to complete secondary school at Government Girls’ College Maiduguri when her father accepted faculty position at the Ramat Polytechnic in Maiduguri. She completed a year of advanced level courses at the Polytechnic Ibadan before proceeding to the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan where received her undergraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S., equivalent to MD). Following a year of rotating internship at the University College Hospital (UCH), she came to the USA to pursue postgraduate degree.

Pastor Olugbenga Adesokan
Elder Olugbenga Adewale Adesokan is an ordained pastor. Trained in Nursing and in Journalism. Born in Ile Oriare Oritamerin Ibadan. After retirement from Oyo State Civil Service moved to the USA in 1995. Married with kids.
Col. (Dr.) Gabriel A. Isioye DDS
He has practized in Nigeria and Liberia. He came to the USA as a Dentist but got another Training at NYU to get Licensed. He is Currently in the Army Reserve as a Dentist. He is also a Misssionary. Work in Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, Haiti during the Earthquake, Dominica, Grenada and Dominican Republic.
Oloye Laja Akintayo, MCA, MBA
Born in Itutaba area of Ibadan a little over six decades ago and he is an alumnus of The Polytechnic Ibadan, University of Ibadan and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso.
A serial investor and well-grounded Communication and Public Relations expert, the new Jagunmolu Apesinola has diverse business interests in Healthcare, Real Estate Development and Oil & Gas.
A community man, a consumate, and silent phillantropist, he is a member and founding President of Ibadan Youth Front (IYF) and member and sponsor of other several socio-cultural organizations in Nigeria and in Diaspora.
He had served as the Public Relations officer, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) in the 90s under the presidency for late Chief Oyetunji .O Bello before relocating to the United States.
A former President of Ibadan indigenes in Dallas Texas and later the National President of Ibadan Descendants union in the United States. He holds the prestigious title of Jagunmolu Apesinola of Ibadanland. He is a Trustee and Board member of various non-political, professional, philanthropic and religious organizations in Nigeria and overseas.
