……All is now set in Dallas, Texas for the 25th Anniversary celebration and Fundraising event of the Ibadan Descendants Union, IDU, Dallas Chapter, scheduled for this Saturday, September 23rd.

The well orchestrated and coordinated event will start from 11am prompt with a Business Summit with His Excellency, Gov Seyi Makinde and ONLY those that registered for the summit.

The gala night will feature Royal Blessings, Cultural Display, Fundraising, Awards, Ewi and celebritory dancing to the music of Barry Showkey who will be performing Live.

One of the major highlights of the night is the Keynote address by our brainy, erudite, lettered and very distinguished Prof Toyin Falola who will be speaking about ‘My Ibadan’. The address by this living encyclopedia of Ibadan history is a must listened to and read by everyone. Prof Falola has been very gracious that he has in fact released the advance copy of his address for us to start digesting ahead of the big day.
